Tetrete Okuamoah Sekyim II, Chairman of the Forestry Commission Board, led a team, made up of the Board, including Mr. John Allotey, Chief Executive; Mrs. Edith Abruquah, Director of Operations, Natural Forest ; Mrs Joyce Ofori Kwafo, Head of Corporate Affairs; Mr. Joseph Bempah the Western North Regional Manager of FSD and other staff to Nfante and Krokosua Forest Reserve.
The team went to inspect a mini camp which is under construction at Nfante to house military personnel who will help staff of the Forestry Commission to fight the illegal logging and chainsawing menace in the area. They also went to the Krokosua Forest Reserve to see for themselves, illegalities being perpetrated in the Reserve.
