The Chairman of the Forestry Commission (FC) Board, Tetrete Okuamoah Sekyim II, who doubles as the Paramount Chief of Wassa Amenfi Traditional Area, has sworn in a new member of the Board.
The Executive Secretary of Lands Commission , Mr. Benjamin Arthur, was sworn in as a new member of FC Board, following the retirement of Mr. James K. Dadson, former Executive Secretary of the Lands Commission.
The Board Chairman on behalf of the Sector Minister, Hon. Samuel A. Jinapor, led Mr. Benjamin Arthur to take the Secrecy, Allegiance and Official oaths .
The swearing -in ceremony took place at the FC Headquarters , in the presence of the Chief Executive, Mr. John Allotey; Dr. Mahmoud Hamid Nassir-Deen; Mr. Kenneth Kwaku Ofori Amankwah; Mr. Richard Duah Nsenkyire, who are also members of the Board, and Lawyer Dennis Osei Hwere, Secretary to the Board.
Members congratulated Mr. Benjamin Arthur and welcomed him aboard the FC Board “ship”.
