Mr. Nyadia Sulemana Nelson, DCE of FC, embarked on a post-planting field assessment

The Deputy Chief Executive of the Forestry Commission (FC), Mr. Nyadia Sulemana Nelson, has visited the Northern Region purposely to monitor and evaluate the growth rate of the seedlings planted on Green Ghana Day. The Region was allotted a target of planting 250,000 seedlings in both Yendi and Tamale Districts.
Seedlings planted across the region includes Cassia, Mahogany, Shea, Teak, Mango and Cashew . Records show a high survival rate of seedlings
