The Deputy Chief Executive of the Forestry Commission Mr. Nyadia Sulemana Nelson paid a courtesy visit to the Upper East Regional Minister, Hon. Stephen Yakubu to seek his support for the upcoming Green Ghana Day which is slated for 10th June 2022. Mr. Nyadia was accompanied by the Regional Manager,  Mr. Emmanuel Yeboah, Mr. Emmanuel Ntiako, Deputy Regional Manager, Mr. Henry Opoku Boateng, District Manager, and the Regional Accountant, Mrs. Sarah Amoh. His visit was to rally the support of opinion leaders and also check how prepared the Region.
The Upper East Region is expected to plant 650,000 seedlings on the Green Ghana Day.
He also took the opportunity to pay a working visit to the  Bolgatanga Forest Service Division and interacted with the YAP beneficiaries and inspected some seedlings and pegs
