LOCATION
It is located in the Brong Ahafo region.
SIZE
It has area surface covering of about 3500km2
VEGETATION
It is mostly woodland savannah on poorer soils with isolated conspicuous inselbergs. It can also boast of a Riverine gallery forest along some the rivers located in the park
KEY FAUNA
Some of the fauna gracing this park include the manatee, the clawless otter, about 8 species of primates (black & white Colobus monkey), antelopes, elephants, warthogs, lions, leopard. There are a few bird species
