The Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, responsible for Lands and Forestry, Hon. Benito Owusu-Bio has on Wednesday, 8th February, 2023 met with officials from the Forestry Commission and the Ministry’s Forestry Directorate to discuss the Forestry sector’s workplan for the year.
Prominent among issues discussed were, target setting for Green Ghana Day, review of the Youth in Afforestation Programme and other plantation interventions for the Ministry.
In the meeting with the Deputy Minister were, the CEO of the Forestry Commission, Mr. John Allotey, the Executive Director for Forest Services Division, Mr. Hugh C. A. Brown and the Technical Director for Forestry at the Ministry, Mr. Joseph Osiakwan.
